Jay P has been DJing since 1992, he starting from at home and then doing parties for friends.

In 1998 had the opportunity of playing at a club in Ireland with a capacity of 2500, in doing this it ignited his passion to try to push on from house parties, so got into radio and floated around on a few small local stations such as Edge fm and Addictive fm before joining Flex fm. While on there held down a residency for ‘It’s A London Thing’ when they was partnering with Garage Nation.

Jay P also played at clubs such as Proud 2 at the O2, Cable and the Vibe Bar.

In 2014 Jay P met Sparkly Betty and taught her how to mix.

By 2016 Jay P had left Flex and took up a Saturday show with Sparkly Betty on Ice-Cold fm, they did this for a year with Sparkly learning live on air..
They decided to leave Ice-Cold and move on…  And have now found the place they call HOME  playbackuk.com
